Job Description
This role owns the end-to-end lifecycle email and SMS marketing strategy for a fast-moving, app-driven business, driving revenue growth through segmentation, copywriting, testing, and performance analytics.

Job Summary
Own and execute the organization's full email marketing strategy, including segmentation, structure, and revenue optimization

Write original, on-brand email and SMS copy and collaborate with an internal campaign strategist to ensure alignment

Manage an internal operator responsible for building and deploying SMS and email campaigns

Lead webinar email strategy from lead generation through attendance and post-webinar conversion

Build and maintain customer segments by analyzing data and identifying actionable audience definitions

Conduct rigorous A/B testing across subject lines, send times, and other campaign variables to improve open and conversion rates

Own analytics and reporting on all email performance, identifying trends and optimizing continuously

Proven experience owning email marketing strategy and copy end-to-end, with the ability to write in a distinct brand voice without relying on AI-generated content

Demonstrated experience managing and growing a large-scale lead database of hundreds of thousands of contacts

Hands-on experience with A/B testing methodologies, including subject lines, send times, and content variables

Experience in a scaling or growth-stage environment, not limited to large enterprise settings

Experience managing or directing at least one direct report or operator-level team member

Strong proficiency in audience segmentation strategy and data-driven decision making

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with webinar-driven email funnels, from registration through post-event sales conversion

Familiarity with SMS marketing platforms and coordinating cross-channel lifecycle campaigns

Background in transitioning email execution from an external agency to an in-house function

Experience reporting on lifecycle marketing KPIs to internal stakeholders
