Communications Manager
Talent Software Services is in search of a Communications Manager for a contract position in Cambridge, MA. The opportunity will be for three months with a strong chance for a long-term extension.

Position Summary: Working under the direction of a client's manager, plan, create, execute, monitor and analyze the effectiveness of digital marketing and advertising campaigns, which contribute to the advancement of client's academic or business objectives. Work with client's communicators, marketers or program managers to identify marketing goals, audiences and messaging. Research available markets and channels. Recommend or select the best ones for the initiative. Develop digital marketing plans and relevant, compelling creative deliverables, working in conjunction with client managers, ad agencies contracted by client, and third party designers or other creatives. Produce digital marketing copy and content as needed. Ensure deliverables are consistent with the brand and quality standards of client and or the school, as well as its global reputation for excellence. Projects may include related non digital marketing elements, such as print or radio. Experience and expertise in the effective use of paid and owned social media, podcast sponsorship, digital display, and email (eblasts and newsletters) advertising. Experience and expertise in paid search, search engine optimization and web analytics. Provide regular reporting and analysis (trends, key metrics, and results) for digital campaigns to the client. Educate and consult with client's team members on advertising efforts, digital marketing product capabilities and digital media trends. Will liaise with and represent client's interests, needs and requirements with publishers, advertising agencies, suppliers and creative resources to ensure successful project execution. Will conduct periodic audits of invoices, budgets, and media plans to optimize client's media investment.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Lead execution of communications strategy across external and corporate alliance initiatives

Oversee planning and delivery of a major May conference (assets, slide decks, A/V coordination, vendor alignment)

Manage external vendors (Reaktiv and Deviate) to ensure deadlines, quality, and performance standards are met

Steward the D3 brand across all touchpoints, including approvals and quality control

Oversee development of corporate partner materials and executive education collateral

Support Institute leadership with presentation development, messaging alignment, and executive materials

Supervise and guide a web designer and content coordinator

Ensure timely website updates and overall digital presence management

Qualifications:

Intermediate or better proficiency in typical Microsoft Office products. Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and Photoshop as well as web analytics. Additional skills with products like Salesforce CRM may be helpful.
