Job Summary
The Community Marketing Agent performs face‑to‑face marketing as a brand ambassador at popular local attractions such as malls or theme parks and attends events such as trade shows, festivals, and conferences to connect with the public on behalf of Wyndham Destinations. In this sales‑based role the Agent engages in face‑to‑face conversations with prospective customers, shares information about the vacation club experience, and invites guests to attend award‑winning vacation ownership presentations.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Serve as a positive and professional brand ambassador for Wyndham Destinations.
Greet, present and incentivize prospective customers to attend a sales‑preview tour.
Screen and qualify potential customers based on company guidelines.
Make sales‑tour reservations and collect required deposits.
Attend all scheduled training sessions and department meetings, stay current on marketing information, materials, and industry trends, and set and review performance goals weekly, monthly and annually (minimum performance goals 80% of time).
Travel Requirements
Within Dade, Broward, and PalmBeach counties.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications
Sales and/or marketing experience is preferred, not required.
Must maintain production standards.
Full availability to work weekends and holidays, daytime and nighttime required.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
1 to 3 years of sales and/or marketing experience preferred; equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of the education requirement.
Training Requirements
Training will be provided.
Knowledge and skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication; ability to work in a team environment within a shared space.
Technical Skills
Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, general computer skills, and smart devices.
