As the Manager, Social Media, you will lead social media efforts for the 8th largest retailer in the US, managing social for millions of devoted members. Your responsibilities include fielding community comments, guiding content creation from concept to posting, overseeing innovative social campaigns, and crafting responses to member inquiries.
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with senior leadership to transform the brand’s social presence.
Implement the content strategy with the Senior Manager, ensuring precision and purpose.
Oversee strategy and creative execution of key social media campaigns, working with world‑class agencies on creative and paid media.
Apply deep knowledge of social publishing tools (preferably Sprinklr), managing tagging, metadata, and quality assurance for accurate reporting and insights.
Lead the strategy for the “My Local Social” program, including content direction and technology implementation via a custom employee mobile app.
Communicate with internal stakeholders across email, mobile, direct mail, and social to maintain a consistent customer experience and brand alignment.
Collaborate with partners and associates to ensure creative output aligns with brand strategy and content territories.
Partner with the Director on campaign performance data and calculate ROI to drive continuous improvement.
Build relationships with cross‑functional teams to ensure consistent implementation of briefs across all channels.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in social media marketing, content strategy, or digital marketing, preferably in retail or e‑commerce.
Exceptional understanding of social media platforms, content strategy, and publishing tools (Sprinklr experience strongly preferred).
Strong analytical skills with experience in social media metrics, reporting, and translating data into actionable insights.
Experience supporting organic and paid social media strategies to create cohesive customer journeys.
Proven track record of driving collaborative success across marketing, merchandising, and technology teams.
Outstanding attention to detail balanced with strategic thinking capabilities.
Experience leading local or community‑focused social initiatives.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
A passion for digital content with the ability to create content yourself.
Compensation
The target hiring compensation range for this role is $44.00 to $49.00 per hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
