Director of Commercial Operations

The Director of Commercial Operations is responsible for optimizing business processes, improving sales and operational efficiency, and supporting revenue growth. This role involves managing sales operations, analyzing performance metrics, enhancing pricing strategies, and ensuring seamless coordination between sales, finance, and supply chain teams.
Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Operations:
Support the sales team with forecasting, pipeline management, and performance tracking.
Develop and optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Oversee CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system usage and data integrity.
Ensure accurate reporting of sales and financial data for decision-making.
Supervise Order Management operations, ensure operational excellence and highest degree of customer satisfaction both internally and externally.
Drive proactive and strategic inventory allocation to maximize revenue.
Pricing & Revenue Management:
Analyze pricing strategies and provide recommendations to maximize profitability.
Monitor market trends and competitor pricing to ensure competitive positioning.
Support contract negotiations by providing data-driven insights.
Maintain and optimize dealer-pricing in SAP and ensure compliance across all operations.
Process Improvement & Strategy Execution:
Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements across commercial operations.
Implement best practices in sales operations, customer onboarding, and order management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, supply chain, marketing) to align operational processes with business goals.
Performance Analysis & Reporting:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, revenue, and operational efficiency.
Prepare regular reports and dashboards for senior management to assess commercial performance.
Use data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
Customer & Partner Management:
Support key account management initiatives by ensuring seamless customer service and order fulfillment.
Work closely with distribution and retail partners to optimize commercial execution.
Assist in contract management, renewals, and compliance tracking.
Required Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years experience in a sales position
Proven experience in strategic planning and execution within the sales function
In-depth understanding of the sales process
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Deep understanding of the music products industry and technology trends
