Job Summary
The Integrated Brand Strategist is responsible for ensuring the fluidity and efficient execution of all account maintenance tasks in coordination with the Integrated Brand Supervisor. This role guarantees that campaign and administrative items are communicated to the appropriate teams and partner agencies in a timely manner. The strategist also plays a key role in the activation of digital media, planning and executing all digital media through the integrated strategy function, overseeing the delivery of campaign materials such as media authorizations, insertion orders, schedules, reports, and creative elements to clients and internal teams. Additionally, the strategist participates in brainstorming sessions, status meetings, client plan presentations and aids in the development of plan recommendation decks based on client business objectives, competitive landscape, and marketplace analysis.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day media plan development, budgetary analysis, buy maintenance, and implementation of campaigns, working closely with activation teams to ensure smooth execution.

Employ Horizon’s suite of planning, evaluation, and buying tools (Nielsen, Comscore, eMarketer, Forrester) for competitive landscape analysis, target consumption support, plan development, and reporting.

Provide critical thinking and analysis to draw conclusions and translate insights into actionable implications.

Utilize knowledge of client products/services and the industry to inform sound strategy and recommendations.

Effectively manage all daily tasks.

Remain current on the status of media assignments and executions to inform weekly internal and client status reports, alerting management to any problems or delays.

Assemble and assess media posts, post‑campaign analysis, and competitive reports to inform future planning and recommendations.

Build and foster open communication with clients and media partners, serving as a key HMI contact.

Media Activation

Participate and lead team brainstorms to kick off plan and consideration set development for digital media.

Monitor trends, tools, opportunities, and applications in paid social media environments and appropriately apply that knowledge.

Investigate cross‑channel opportunities, incorporating mobile and social extensions.

Create and present media-specific documents such as RFPs, media plans, objectives, strategy decks, and other related functions.

Coordinate review of RFP submissions for maximized social media integrations.

Lead RFP review of partner/site responses, compile proposal analysis, and drive partner negotiations.

Campaign execution & management:

Traffic plan assets such as creative and required tracking tags.

Set up third‑party ad server/tracker system and ensure sites are enabled and functioning properly, and all materials are received from creative agency.

Execute quality assurance of tracking functionality and creative units to identify and solve issues.

Create campaign post‑launch information such as screenshots, links, and placement data to demonstrate proof of placement for clients.

Enter and manage plans in the billing system, track insertion orders, develop creative specifications, and handle traffic sheets/creative assignments as necessary.

Generate insertion orders within internal system tools to reserve advertising space, ensuring accuracy and protocol.

Maintain plan records, insertion orders, contact lists, spec documents, and TI sheets.

Monitor, manage, and optimize self‑service paid social activation across Facebook, Twitter, and other relevant social environments, including buy set‑up and targeting selections.

Manage day‑to‑day communication with key partners: vendors, partner agencies, and creative media/social clients.

Knowledge and Skills Required

Minimum 1–2 years of planning experience, preferably across multiple media channels with a focus on digital and social planning.

Solid understanding of media math, terminology, and analytical tools (MRI, Nielsen, Scarborough).

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Effective verbal and written communication skills with a problem‑solving mindset.

Professional demeanor and strong client relationship management experience.

Experience developing and presenting plan presentations.

Experience with competitive intelligence and media delivery tools.

Strong organization and prioritization skills.

Some AI literacy is ideal.

Salary Range
$1,275 to $1,538.46 a week. Actual weekly or hourly rate may vary based on skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and equity.
