Job Title: Regional Sales Manager, Interventional Pain - West Coast

Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of a Region Sales Manager is to coach, teach, and develop his/her team to execute the revenue goals within the corporate business strategy.
Coach and develop team members to execute the established revenue goals within the framework of the corporate strategy.
Provide coaching and development to assess each employee’s strengths and weaknesses and establish a plan for continuous improvement.
Develop, monitor and adjust robust territory business plans with the regional sales team.
Communicate with the regional sales team weekly, including conference calls to assess sales leads and performance.
Conduct field ride‑along visits: 2 days per week with territory manager/sales representative and 1 day per week with sales associate and clinical specialists; file field follow‑up reports.
Understand and leverage tools, reports and analyses provided by analytics team.
Use Salesforce.com to help the team manage the sales cycle and harvest leads.
Communicate business results monthly to senior management and the sales team, covering results, drivers, best practices, risks, gaps, and budget adherence.
Proactively monitor and report to marketing and senior sales management the issues affecting the region.
Collaborate with recruitment partners to locate, screen and hire sales personnel for the region.
Work with HR to execute onboarding and off‑boarding processes.
Provide feedback to quality and regulatory teams on customer, product and quality issues.
Oversee contract strategy execution within the region, including accounts and local buying groups.
Take responsibility for training and education of the regional sales team on compliance, quality, hospital credentialing, and corporate policies.
Maintain administrative responsibilities: monthly reports, performance reviews, talent reviews, and expense reports.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree required.
At least five years of experience in medical device sales.
At least 2 years of experience in medical device sales management.
Strong leadership qualities.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Extensive in‑field travel required.
Must be able to lift 35 pounds.
Preferred
Medical device sales experience.
At least 8 years in the medical device industry.
Experience with orthopedics and/or surgical specialties.
Hands‑on approach to sales strategy and execution.
Demonstrated success coaching and developing talent.
Team player willing to go above and beyond.
Positive, professional attitude.
Proficient with MS Office Suite.
Salesforce.com proficiency preferred.
Strong presentation, persuasion, and deal‑closing skills.
Superior work ethic and high energy.
Self‑motivated, proactive, and resourceful.
Salary Range
The anticipated average base pay range for this position is $100,000.00 - $140,000.00. In addition, the role is eligible for incentive compensation and benefits. Pay may vary by location.
