About FlyDog Digital
FlyDog Digital is a strategic marketing agency specializing in multi-location wellness and hospitality brands. We build full-funnel marketing programs — from branding and SEO to paid ads and social media — that drive measurable growth for founder‑led companies.

We've been doing this for five years. Our clients stay because we produce results they can point to. Our team is small, senior, and deeply collaborative. We don't do fluff, we don't do busy work, and we don't hire people who need hand‑holding. We hire people who are genuinely excellent at what they do and give them the space to prove it.

Why Work With Us?

You’ll be part of a thoughtful, high‑performing crew that roots for each other’s success.

Your ideas won’t just be heard—they’ll be implemented.

Weekly team calls mix wins, check‑ins, and reflections (yes, book club is mandatory and awesome).

We believe in boundaries, PTO, and people having full lives.

You’ll be given real ownership and real support—no babysitting, no silos, just shared accountability.

The Role
We're looking for a Social Media Strategist who leads with thinking. Someone who can look at a brand, understand its audience deeply, and build a social media strategy that moves people from strangers to customers — and then execute on it themselves.

This is not a purely strategic role. You'll own both the strategy and the execution across a portfolio of client accounts. But the thing that will make you exceptional here is your ability to think before you create — to understand why a piece of content exists, who it's for, and what it should make them do.

Our clients are founder‑led wellness, hospitality, and construction brands. They need social media to do real work — not just generate likes, but drive traffic, leads, bookings, and sales. You'll be the person who figures out how to make that happen.

What You'll Be Doing

Develop platform‑specific social media strategies rooted in audience psychology, competitive analysis, and client business goals

Define content frameworks that move audiences through awareness, consideration, and conversion

Identify what makes each brand genuinely different and build content that communicates that — without saying it directly

Collaborate with the Account Strategist on quarterly campaigns and translate overarching brand strategy into social‑first thinking

Stay ahead of platform shifts, cultural moments, and audience behavior changes and bring those insights to clients proactively

Content Development & Execution

Concept, write, design, and edit content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn

Write copy that is precise, human, and brand‑specific — never generic, never AI‑sounding

Design graphics in Canva and edit short‑form video in CapCut or natively in‑app

Build and manage content calendars across multiple client accounts simultaneously

Performance & Analysis

Own the performance of social across your client portfolio — set goals, track metrics, and report on what matters

Diagnose what's working and what isn't — and bring solutions, not just observations

Collaborate with the Ads Manager to ensure organic strategy supports and informs paid performance

Contribute to client strategy conversations with informed, confident recommendations

Communicate performance clearly and translate data into decisions

Maintain brand consistency and strategic alignment across all content and platforms

What You'll Need
Required

4–6 years of professional post‑graduation experience in social media, content strategy, or digital marketing — agency experience required

Demonstrated ability to build social media strategies that connect to business outcomes, not just on‑platform growth

Deep understanding of audience psychology and how to use it to drive content decisions

Exceptional copywriting skills — you can write in ten different brand voices and none of them sound like you

Hands‑on execution skills: Canva, CapCut, scheduling platforms, and analytics tools

Experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously with competing deadlines

Analytical confidence — you know which metrics matter and why, and you use data to make creative decisions

Based in Indiana with ability to travel to Indianapolis for occasional content shoots

Bonus Points

Experience capturing and editing short‑form video content

Experience working with founder‑led brands in wellness or hospitality

Comfort working in a fast‑paced, collaborative agency environment

Compensation and Perks

Salary : $55,000–$70,000/year (depending on experience)

Benefits : Health, dental, and vision insurance.

Time Off : 2 weeks PTO, 10 holidays, 3 floating holidays, and your birthday off

Professional Development : A yearly professional development stipend

Remote Work : Flexible hours with results‑first accountability

Culture : Transparent, collaborative, and growth‑oriented
