We are seeking a highly strategic and creatively driven Creative Director, Copy for our healthcare brand(s). The role requires a visionary with strong persuasive writing skills to lead a team of talented copywriters and deliver innovative, award‑winning messaging that meets client business challenges.
Responsibilities
- Be the go‑to creative leader for assigned brand(s): provide thoughtful leadership, strategic clarity, inspiration and direction to teams, and help develop strong ideas that solve clients’ business challenges.
- Provide actionable, clear, and strategic feedback to teams and work closely with Strategy, Account, and client to ensure ideas align with the creative brief.
- Conceive and persuasively present award‑worthy concepts and recommendations to internal teams and clients.
- Lead production efforts and demonstrate ability to work within budget or articulate justification to increase budget for projects with the Account Team.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and spot opportunities to enhance or build on a project (upsell).
- Present confidently to clients and clearly communicate how creative work/design meets the strategic and business objective.
- Manage multiple projects, sometimes for various brands with different scopes, and ensure all project and team deadlines are met.
Qualifications
- Portfolio that demonstrates creative and conceptual thinking, preferably in the healthcare/pharma industry.
- 8‑10+ years of equivalent experience with 5+ years of supervisory experience.
- Highly creative individual who generates innovative, award‑worthy creative and strategic ideas that solve business challenges.
- Confident and persuasive presenter, able to respond well to challenging client situations.
- Comfortable acting as liaison between agency vendor and client.
- Comfortable pushing back on brief or strategic direction as necessary and collaborating with senior level co‑workers and clients.

Salary: $100,000—$230,000 USD.
