Role Description This is a part-time, on-site Social Media Marketing Intern role based in Houston, TX. The intern will assist in planning, creating, and publishing social media content for various V&A Group brands across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and others as needed. Daily responsibilities include drafting posts, sourcing and organizing images and short videos, writing engaging captions, and monitoring comments and messages for timely responses or escalation. The intern will help track performance metrics, compile basic reports, and support digital campaigns and promotions. Collaboration with marketing, design, and sales teams will be expected to ensure consistent brand messaging and a cohesive social media strategy.
Qualifications
- Strong interest and foundational skills in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation.
- Basic understanding of Digital Marketing and Marketing principles, especially for brand awareness and engagement.
- Clear, professional Communication skills, both written and verbal, suitable for internal teams and public-facing content.
- Ability to work on-site in Houston, TX, manage time effectively, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with major social platforms, basic analytics (e.g., insights, reach, engagement), and common content tools (e.g., Canva or similar) is preferred.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or coursework in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Interest in jewelry, fashion, or luxury brands and a keen eye for visual aesthetics are highly beneficial.
