PHP & WordPress Developer
Novalink Solutions LLC, Raleigh, NC – Immediate need for a PHP and WordPress Developer to get the site up and running.

Candidates must be available immediately for the duration of the engagement. A small extension may be requested to complete the work if needed.

Scope of Work

Website Access Restoration: Diagnose and repair missing WordPress login PHP file, restoring login for admin and content management.

Static Pages Restoration: Diagnose and repair issues preventing live changes to static portions of the site.

Codebase Stabilization: Identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations that cause instability; apply necessary fixes.

Content Management Support: Make minor updates to improve navigation and usability, given current structure, to better serve public users and ease content management.

Short-Term Maintenance Recommendations: Provide guidance on maintaining operability over the short term, including essential updates and monitoring for potential failure points.

Documentation: Document any repairs, temporary fixes, or recommendations to enable the NCMNS team to maintain site functionality and address minor issues.

Requirements

Extensive experience with PHP development (Required)

Experience with WordPress development (Required)

Experience reviewing existing code to diagnose and repair missing WordPress login PHP files (Required)

Experience restoring the login functionality for administrative and content management access (Required)

Ability to identify problematic custom PHP code, outdated plugins, and legacy configurations contributing to instability, and apply fixes as necessary (Required)
