This role blends visual design, animation, and instructional support to create engaging digital learning experiences. The ideal candidate brings both creative expertise and operational discipline, ensuring assets are well-structured, version-controlled, and scalable across platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesE-Learning Content DevelopmentDesign visually compelling graphics for e-learning modules, including infographics, UI elements, and instructional visualsCollaborate with instructional designers to translate complex concepts into engaging visual contentOptimize designs for LMS platforms and responsive deliveryMultimedia ProductionCreate and edit animations and motion graphics for training contentProduce and edit video content, including screen captures, voiceover sync, and post-production enhancementsExport and optimize assets (PNG, SVG, MP4, etc.) for performance and accessibilityGraphic Design ExecutionDevelop high-quality static assets (PNGs and other formats) aligned with brand standardsEnsure consistency across all visual materials and learning productsSupport rapid-turn updates and iterative design cyclesFile Structure, Storage & Version ControlEstablish and maintain standardized file naming conventions and folder structuresManage asset libraries for easy retrieval and reuseImplement version control practices to track revisions and maintain integrity of deliverablesEnsure proper archiving and documentation of final assetsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with SMEs, developers, and project managers to meet deadlines and project requirementsParticipate in design reviews and provide constructive feedbackContribute to continuous improvement of design workflows and processesRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field (or equivalent experience)4–7 years of professional graphic design experience, with a focus on e-learning or digital training contentProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop) or equivalent toolsExperience creating animations and video content for instructional useStrong understanding of PNG optimization and digital asset formatsDemonstrated experience with file organization, asset management, and version control systemsSolid understanding of design principles, typography, and visual storytellingPreferred QualificationsExperience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Captivate)Familiarity with LMS environments and SCORM/xAPI standardsBasic knowledge of UI/UX design principlesExperience working in Agile or fast-paced production environmentsKey CompetenciesCreative problem-solving with attention to detailStrong organizational and documentation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesEffective communication and collaboration across teamsAdaptability and continuous learning mindsetPosition BenefitsAs a full-time employee of Long Wave, you are eligible for our benefits package including:Competitive SalaryMedical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffThis position's standard work schedule is a 9/80.
