Bilingual Mandarin/English Marketing Specialist (FOOD) (CA/YM)

A Food company is seeking a Bilingual Mandarin/English Marketing Specialist to join their team in San Francisco, CA. This position is responsible for coordinating sales objectives and marketing programs for a network of customers and distributors. A bachelor’s degree, 3-5 years in food service sales or retail experience, computer skills, a clean driving record and ability to travel is required. This is a full time, non-exempt, Hybrid position(after training) with excellent benefits, including 401k.

Responsibilities

Assist in planning and executing national and regional food service events

Collaborate with the sales team and agencies to develop and implement various marketing tactic

Analyze marketing data and prepare a scheduled report to National Sales Managers

Collaborate with the vendor and chef influencers to support partnership activities

Prepare presentations and documents to assist the sales team in driving business growth

Design advertising creatives tailored to ethnic markets and retailer

Collaborate with external agencies to develop and implement sales tactic

Support the ethnic sales team with marketing initiatives and activities

Create sales sheets and launch decks for Retail & Foodservice

Attend an ethnic trade show

Assist in translating website content from English to Chines

Create email marketing content (Mailchimp) for promotions and food shows, and provide monthly performance report

Support in the execution of Foodservice trade shows such as preparing recipe cards, poster board, giveaway and other event material

Work closely with the agency & vendor to execute PR & marketing strategies

Develop graphic and creative content for media placemen

Support ongoing marketing initiatives, aiding in the development of promotional materials and digital content

Collaborate with the Assistant Manager and the Foodservice Sales Tea

Work with chefs to develop recipes, website content and webinar

Collaborate with culinary teams to create recipes, webinars, and engaging digital content, while managing ongoing website and product update

Qualifications

Must speak, read, and write Mandar

Must have a bachelor’s degree

Must have at least 3 years of related corporate experience

Must have proficiency in Canva ((Mailchimp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is a plus)

Strong proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint
