About the team Zillow Media Experts seeks experienced photographers for part‑time real‑estate media work in Dallas, TX. Capture high‑quality photos, videos, Zillow’s 3D interactive floor plans to help agents market listings. Photographers will drive between job sites, capture media, and upload/cess after editing.
About the role This part‑time, field position requires 10–20 hours per week, depending on demand, with potential for overtime. Employees are expected to live within a reasonable commuting distance to their service area and may pursue full‑time opportunities in the future. Base pay is competitive and eligible for incentive compensation.
Responsibilities Capture industry‑leading still photography, listing videos, 3D or 360° virtual tours, drone photography & videos, and social media videos for for‑sale or for‑rent properties.
Use advanced photography techniques and equipment to showcase unique property features and meet brand standards.
Coordinate and interact with clients on‑site to understand photography needs and provide guidance during sessions.
Use proprietary technology to create rich media experiences.
Ensure all photographs adhere to brand guidelines and represent properties accurately.
Manage and maintain photography equipment (cameras, lenses, accessories) for optimal performance.
Organize and upload captured media for post‑processing, meeting all deadlines and appointment punctuality.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continually improve skills.
Develop creative concepts to showcase the unique selling points of each property.
Collaborate with team members (regional managers, market leaders, photographers) and external partners (agents, marketing professionals) to deliver cohesive visual assets.
Adapt to changes in media, product, services, capture, or processing workflows.
Represent Zillow Media Experts professionally at all times.
Qualifications Ability to learn and follow Zillow Media Expert’s processes and computer systems.
Experience capturing high‑quality real‑estate photography, videos, 3D tours, and drone media.
Strong understanding of photography fundamentals with DSLR or mirrorless systems.
May be required to obtain an FAA Part107 drone license and complete training as needed.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel within a 60‑mile radius of the city center.
Minimum availability of 10–20 hours per week (part‑time work).
Internet upload speed of at least 15Mbps strongly preferred.
Located near Dallas, TX.
Required Equipment Professional full‑frame or crop‑sensor DSLR/mirrorless camera capable of 5‑bracket, Auto Exposure Bracketing (AEB) e.g., Canon R7, R5, 6D‑MkII, 5D‑MkIV.
Wide‑angle lens (full‑frame15‑35mm, crop‑sensor10‑22mm).
Ball‑head or geared head tripod (fluid heads not acceptable).
