Spectrum Engineering Intern (Summer2026)
Internships at Astranis typically last twelve weeks and are hourly roles designed for students currently enrolled at a four‑year university.

Role
Help the Regulatory team develop spectrum resources for Astranis for years to come! Learn about spectrum management, FCC licensing, the International Telecommunication Union’s role, and how satellite companies apply for the ability to launch satellite systems through these processes. Perform RF interference analyses to determine how Astranis satellites can share with other systems.

Requirements

Completion of the 2nd year of a bachelor’s degree in engineering—preferably electrical, space‑focused, or aeronautical.

Interest in the intersection of legal and engineering.

Strong drive to make things happen; self‑starter.

Able to move work forward while still having questions.

Bonus

More years completed in engineering school; coursework in satellite communications.

The base pay for this position is $29.00 per hour.
