The Role
adMarketplace is looking for a seasoned Senior Sales Director with a proven track record within Holding Companies to lead our Holding Company team. As a leader of the agency team within the demand organization, you’ll be responsible for developing and executing our agency strategy. The mission of this role is to establish relationships with leadership within the holding companies and direct brands, support your sellers in driving revenue from new accounts, and lead on partnership level decisions with our business partners.

In this pivotal role, you’ll forge partnerships with agency stakeholders, and partner with AMP leadership on exploring long term partnerships with the Holding Company. This is your opportunity to shape the future and be instrumental in scaling adMarketplace success.

Develop a cohesive agency strategy, aligned with agency relationship mapping needed to grow the partnership.

Partner cross-functionally to consistently exceed client expectations and ensure their needs are met with precision.

Champion Innovation:

Represent our media solutions and amplify our position as an industry leader at conferences and events to secure new clients and elevate our presence.

Sell Smart and Strategically:

Thrive in navigating complex and dynamic organizations across diverse industries, pitching tailored solutions that address clients’ budgets, marketing goals, and measurement requirements.

Research and Refine:

Conduct deep client research to personalize outreach and deliver compelling pitches that resonate.

Qualifications

Industry Expertise:

Proven success in Agency sales, as well as leading sales teams to strategic, healthy growth. Track record of quantifiable executive-level selling and relationship-building, with a pre-established network.

Strategic Insight:

Understanding of agency structures, motivations, and organizational needs, paired with the ability to align diverse products/solutions to unique use cases.

Sales Excellence:

Exceptional sales, presentation, and communication skills, with expertise in discovery, objection handling, and closing deals with senior decision-makers.

Solution-Oriented Vision:

Strong background in consultative, solution-based selling to key stakeholders across media, analytics, and finance disciplines.

Data-Driven Leader:

Analytical thinker who thrives in navigating complex conversations and leverages data for guidance and decision making.

Proven Success:

Demonstrated ability to secure multi‑million‑dollar, long‑term partnerships on a domestic and global scale.

Relentless Competitor:

A self-starter with robust prospecting, presentation, and relationship-building experience; fearless in asking challenging questions to achieve ambitious goals.

Sense of Urgency:

Thrives in high‑pressure situations with a strong drive to deliver results efficiently and effectively.

Educational:

Bachelor’s degree with 10+ years as a top performer in agency sales, with 7+ years of experience leading sales teams.

Compensation:

$220,000 - $250,000 + Commission & Equity

*This range represents the low and high end of the base salary someone in this role may earn as an employee of adMarketplace in the New York office. Salaries will vary based on various factors including but not limited to professional and academic experience; training; associated responsibilities; and other business and organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of our total compensation package for employees. Salary decisions are dependent on the circumstances of each hire.
