We are seeking a Senior Manager, Global Business Development to lead key entertainment partnerships and drive global licensing growth across Hasbro's portfolio. This role serves as the primary business lead for assigned partners – owning the relationship, aligning cross-functional teams, and delivering commercial performance.

The position will be based out of our Burbank, CA office location and will be hybrid 3 days a week on-site (Tues/Wed/Thursday).

Lead Strategic Partnerships

Serve as the primary point of contact for key global licensors, leading the overall business relationship across Hasbro categories

Build trusted, long-term partnerships and represent Hasbro in external engagements and negotiations

Drive Licensing & Business Development

Lead inbound licensing opportunities from evaluation through deal execution, partnering with Brand, Finance, and Legal teams

Support negotiation processes and ensure deals align with financial and strategic objectives

Own Cross-Functional Alignment & Execution

Proactively engage key partners early to define processes, timelines, and expectations

Partner across Brand, Product Development, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Regional teams to ensure seamless partnership execution

Lead Joint Business Planning & Commercial Performance

Drive joint business planning, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and milestone meetings to align on product, marketing, and revenue plans

Own forecasting processes, track performance against targets, and proactively identify risks and opportunities

Enhance Partner Experience & Operations

Champion a "best partner" mindset by improving processes, communication, and collaboration models

Drive operational excellence by managing multiple priorities, anticipating issues, and implementing scalable solutions

What You'll Bring

Bachelor's degree required; MBA, PMP, or equivalent certification preferred

7+ years of progressive experience in brand partnerships, strategic alliances, licensing, or business development, ideally within the toy, game, entertainment, or consumer products industries

Proven ability to establish new relationships and demonstrate strong, ongoing relationship

Strong financial acumen with experience supporting licensing agreement preparation and execution, including minimum guarantees, royalty rates, allowances, deductions, and margins

Confidence representing Hasbro's interests and engaging effectively in complex or difficult situations

Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into execution

Excellent leadership and team-building skills within a global, matrixed environment

Exceptional oral, written, and visual communication skills

Strong organizational and collaboration skills

Ability to lead through influence, build alignment, and drive execution without direct authority

Proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of ownership and accountability

Comfort operating in fast-moving environments where initiatives are being defined while executed

Positive, adaptable mindset and the ability to maintain perspective and a sense of humor even during challenging moments

Willingness to travel as required to support key business reviews, milestone reviews, and global business planning initiatives

Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Excel, and Outlook

Pay Range: $131,600 - $197,400 USD
