Axia Women's Health has been recognized as the #1 Physician Practice for Women's Health by Castle Connolly and certified as a Great Place to Work for four consecutive years.The Communications Manager primary goal is to support patient growth, brand perception, and organizational alignment through strategic messaging, scalable content creation, and modern communications practices. Responsibilities include the development and management of internal and external communications across channels including social media, blog content, email, public relations, and internal communications.This role will partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Digital, and clinical leadership to develop messaging strategies and content that support Axia Women's Health priorities. The Communications Manager will also help modernize the organization's approach to content production through the thoughtful implementation of AI-enabled tools and workflows.Essential FunctionsExternal Communications & Content StrategyLead strategic thinking regarding messaging and content development across Marketing channels including blog, social media, e-mail, and patient-facing communicationsDevelop and maintain editorial calendars aligned to organizational priorities, seasonal initiatives, and patient acquisition opportunitiesPartner with Digital Marketing to identify opportunities for content creation based on patient trends, search behavior, campaign performance, and SEO needsOversee the development of blog content, e-mail copy, patient education materials, and social content utilizing AI-enabled content generation tools as appropriateManage and monitor organic social media presence across Axia Women's Health brands and channelsCollaborate with freelance creative resources to develop content assets and creative materials as requiredSupport website copy updates and messaging enhancements in partnership with Digital MarketingInternal CommunicationsManage and execute internal communications initiatives including organizational newsletters, leadership messaging, town hall support, talking points, and other employee-facing communicationsHelp streamline and modernize internal communications practices to improve organizational effectiveness and reduce unnecessary communication burdenPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure communication alignment across key initiatives and announcementsPublic Relations & Brand SupportSupport reactive public relations needs in partnership with leadership and external agencies/resources as requiredSupport crisis communications needs in partnership with leadership, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and external partners as requiredAssist in the development and coordination of messaging, talking points, and communication plans related to sensitive or time-sensitive organizational mattersAssist with the development of messaging and communications materials related to organizational initiatives, provider announcements, new services, and strategic prioritiesMonitor brand voice and messaging consistency across communications channelsAI & Process InnovationSupport the implementation and optimization of AI-enabled content generation tools and workflows across MarketingIdentify opportunities to improve content production efficiency while maintaining quality and brand standardsAssist in the development of scalable communications templates, processes, and playbooksSupervisory ResponsibilitiesMay oversee interns, freelancers, agencies, or other external resources supporting content and communications initiativesSkillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsExceptional copywriting and editing capabilitiesStrong understanding of social media content and channel managementFamiliarity with AI-enabled content generation platforms and workflowsStrong project management and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyCollaborative cross-functional working styleStrong attention to detailAbility to operate effectively in fast-moving or sensitive communications situationsExperience managing external vendors or freelance resources preferredExperience & EducationDegree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related fieldMinimum of 5 years relevant job experienceExperience supporting content strategy, communications, or social media management requiredHealthcare or multi-location consumer services experience preferredFull Time Benefits SummaryFull time benefit-eligibility beginning the first of the month after starting with choice of multiple medical insurance plans.Additional insurance options including dental, vision, supplemental life insurance, FSA, HSA w/ employer contribution, identity theft, long term care, pet insurance and more!401(k) company match.Generous PTO offering with additional time off for volunteeringAxia-paid life insurance, short-term and long-term disabilityFree counseling for colleagues and family members, including parents and parents-in-lawAccess to discount on Hotels, Theme Parks, Gym Memberships, and more through the Great Works Perks ProgramQualificationsEducationBachelors or better in Marketing or related field.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
