Position Summary
The role of the Digital Business Development Manager is to support, manage, and grow digital sales with Crawford. The position will include specific goals and expectations. This is a high‑visibility position with phenomenal growth opportunities. Digital Platform training will be provided, but the ideal candidate must possess a tremendous amount of high energy, creativity, and leadership instincts.

Responsibilities

Directly responsible for meeting specific yearly eCommerce sales goals

Develop internal and external training programs to enrich our associates’ and customers’ knowledge and understanding of our value‑add services

Work closely with outside, inside, and counter sales teams to identify customer needs and provide digital solutions based on those needs

Work closely with purchasing, credit, and project management teams to identify SOP enhancements and provide solutions to improve operations

Identify target customer opportunities by using internal analytics suite

Visit customers to demonstrate, implement, and/or troubleshoot digital capabilities

Assist in driving incremental sales via digital platforms by working with the marketing team on quarterly promotions

Build, analyze, and distribute monthly digital sales reports highlighting branch and region performance, recent wins, and opportunities

Create and present high‑level presentations to be given to executive team, branch management, sales teams, strategic vendor partners, and customers

Work cross collaboratively with Crawford’s regional Digital Business Development Managers to share best practices to drive increased knowledge and usage of the company’s eCommerce tools

Attend Sonepar Digital meetings as needed

Qualifications

Strategic thinker who can plan for and drive sales across all customer‑facing mediums of our existing digital platforms

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

1‑3 years of experience in a sales role

Electrical Distribution industry experience a plus

Additional Requirement

Ability to travel 60% of the time, sometimes overnight
