Join Our Team
The North American Paid Media Buyer is part of the Global Digital and Loyalty team and reports directly to the Retail Media Manager. This pivotal role drives the success of RMN campaigns by managing the end‑to‑end lifecycle, from strategic concepting to activation and performance reporting. It shapes campaign narratives, ensures measurable outcomes, and delivers exceptional value to advertising partners and customers.
As Part of Our Team, You Will
Take part in the evolution of a quickly growing and exciting arm of the Circle K business.
Influence and develop the strategic digital transformation within Circle K's retail media network (RMN).
Work on challenges across the entire footprint of Circle K stores in the US and Canada.
What You Will Do
Daily manage, implement, optimize, and report on programmatic efforts across the entire book of business for Circle K media.
Partner with the Marketing Manager and media team members to develop dynamic activation plans; collaborate cross‑functionally to bring plans to market; lead vendor vetting and intake processes to expand paid media opportunities.
Monitor and track media performance metrics, analyze campaign results, and provide actionable insights and recommendations for optimizations.
Skillfully manage multi‑million‑dollar advertising budgets across various programmatic partners and ad‑buying platforms.
Collaborate with creative teams to develop campaign creatives for programmatic channels and tactics.
Own relationships with media partners and vendors to stay informed about new opportunities and negotiate favorable terms.
Develop optimal ad operation processes and partner with cross‑functional teams for implementation and accuracy.
Partner with the Retail Media Manager in media planning to recommend best practices and develop optimal media mix for programmatic channels.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of the evolving programmatic industry; lead training sessions to share best practices and new technology advancements with the organization.
Skills & Qualifications
1–2 years of media buying experience.
Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, communications, or a related field.
Agency or retail media experience preferred.
Knowledge and execution across multiple channels.
Strong presentation and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
A fast learner with creative thinking and a go‑getter attitude.
Proactive troubleshooting skills and the ability to bring solutions to problems for quick resolutions.
