YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a Buyer, Integrated Investment for a full‑time temporary role to run through August 31, 2024 (benefits eligible). The Buyer oversees tactical planning, execution and reporting of campaigns, using knowledge of the media marketplace to brainstorm and ideate new activations and vendors.
A successful Buyer is resourceful, organized, energetic, and a strong communicator who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and can handle multiple projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain a base‑level knowledge of buying for online and offline media channels: Digital (banners, audio, video, search, social), TV, radio, OOH, and print.
Own vendor communications and build relationships with clients.
Manage the RFP process — develop partner consideration sets, draft RFPs, and lead conversations with partners.
Collaborate on media buying, vendor contracts, budget management by platform, and billing/invoicing for campaigns.
Leverage media buying tools such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, GCM, Datorama, Tableau, etc. to execute plans and buys.
Apply negotiation principles to secure discounts and added value.
Serve as the first gatekeeper and reviewer of the Assistant’s work.
Ensure smooth campaign launch and execution, communicating updates internally and externally.
Maintain a deep understanding of the digital media trafficking process.
Perform weekly pacing and monitoring of campaign performance.
Fully comprehend media strategy and tactical details to support the Supervisor/Director in media approach development.
Proactively encourage media‑creative integration through cross‑agency presentations and timelines.
Validate accuracy of data used for reporting and develop media POVs for clients.
Encourage out‑of‑the‑box thinking, staying up to date with marketplace offerings and new opportunities.
Participate in training for professional growth, mentor Assistant Buyers, and provide ongoing feedback.
Demonstrate high personal dedication, contribute positively to culture, troubleshoot team issues, and build strong team communication.
REQUIREMENTS
At least 2 years of experience in a media investment/buying role across online and/or offline channels, including campaign execution and management.
Proficiency with media tools and platforms such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, and Tableau.
Strong project and campaign management skills, including RFP development, vendor negotiations, trafficking, pacing, and reporting.
Effective communication and collaboration skills — able to manage vendor relationships, support internal teams, and articulate media strategies clearly.
Ability to mentor junior team members.
