This job assumes responsibility for video production and multimedia support. Creates internal communications media and external marketing projects that deliver messages to educate, inspire and engage stakeholders. Responsible for collaborating on a wide variety of video projects for corporate communications, marketing, medical/patient education, commercial and broadcast deliveries. Involved in all aspects of video production including the creative process, research, development, scripting, scheduling, content acquisition, lighting, editing, music selection, on‑location site selection, graphics, talent selection and distribution of media. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with internal and external teams, contributing to the company's strategies and goals, and making recommendations on technology improvements with regards to video production, workflow and distribution of content.
Education
Required – Bachelor's degree in Communications, TV and/or Film Production
Work Experience
Required – 3 years of professional broadcast, commercial, corporate, or film experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Must have computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient information. Must be proficient with Windows‑style applications and keyboard, and Mac platform.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout the patient care process.
Strong technical and creative background in all areas of video production with an emphasis on shooting, directing, post production and distribution.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work effectively as a member of a team, to work closely with all levels of employees, and independently.
Strong organizational and effective time management skills.
Working knowledge of Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Expertise in camera work, lighting, editing, direction, and sound production for video.
Ability to remain calm under pressure, make quick decisions, be flexible and adjust to changing priorities and demands.
Ability and desire to learn new skills as technology and healthcare evolve.
Must be able to travel throughout and between facilities.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule (e.g. 24/7, weekend, holiday, on call availability).
Job Duties
Plans, develops and facilitates high‑end photo, video and audio content for all distribution media.
Provides high quality studio and on‑location production skills.
Provides high quality post production editing/graphics capabilities.
Handles all equipment in a professional manner and performs routine preventive maintenance.
Maintains effective media storage, sharing and archive system.
Other related duties as required.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Medium Work – Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. The physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Sedentary Work. Even though the weight lifted may be only a negligible amount, a job should be rated Light Work when it requires walking or standing to a significant degree, or when it requires sitting most of the time but entails pushing and/or pulling of arm or leg controls, and/or when the job requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials even though the weight of those materials is negligible.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste. The risk level of exposure may increase depending on the essential job duties of the role.
