The Communications + Brand Senior Employee Communications Specialist for DPR’s Integrated Entities engages and develops employees at every stage of their career journey. The role shapes and implements complex communications plans to strengthen employee engagement and support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities Provide strategic counsel to leaders and internal teams seeking to communicate effectively with employees.
Create comprehensive communication plans for integrated entities initiatives and organizational changes, prioritizing and managing expectations across multiple complex projects.
Partner with leaders and cross‑functional teams to develop targeted messaging for various employee audiences.
Develop and implement content strategy supporting the employee communications plan, utilizing email, video, printed collateral, newsletters, intranet, Microsoft Viva, Teams, digital signage, face‑to‑face meetings, etc.
Serve as editor‑in‑chief of integrated employee newsletters; source content, copywrite, review and edit, and act as a HubSpot power‑user.
Ensure consistency and inclusivity in all messaging, adapting content for accessibility, cultural relevance and adherence to brand standards.
Liaise with regional leaders, subject matter experts, project teams, and Marketing & Sales to identify content supporting employee and external communications.
Maintain inputs to DPR’s global editorial calendar via Monday.com and collaborate with peers to manage volume and timeliness of information.
Establish and implement a consistent process for sharing and monitoring engagement of information from company‑wide leaders equitably across Integrated Entities to reach front‑line employees.
Analyze feedback and engagement data to refine communication strategies and measure success.
Optimize internal channels to reach varied geographic and demographic audiences, exploring innovative approaches for hard‑to‑reach audiences.
Serve as an internal communications consultant, sharing insights and expertise across DPR whenever appropriate.
Relevant Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing, a related field, or equivalent experience.
7+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, marketing, recruitment marketing, or related field.
Experience managing executives, projects, and stakeholders.
Experience in content writing, publishing, newsletters, presentations, marketing materials, blogs, and social media articles.
Experience with employee communications platforms, social media platforms, digital tools.
Experience and interest in creating short videos and overseeing production freelancers, location experts, etc.
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and manage a high volume of activity.
Ability to prioritize and manage expectations and resources such as third‑party vendors and in‑house team members for multiple complex projects.
Proficiency with employee communications platforms and digital tools.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Availability to travel as needed.
