The Director, Brand Experience

Audiences leads the development of audience-first strategies and oversees the planning and execution of media campaigns across channels for a specific client. This person is a leader who contributes to audience strategy and planning and builds solid relationships with clients and internal teams across all levels and functions. As the day-to-day point of contact for senior-level partners, the Director facilitates ongoing education for internal teams and clients, identifies and manages audiences driven planning and user level strategic insight.
Responsibilities:
Translating client goals into actionable audience via data solutions, ensuring the effective use of data and technology to drive media and audience strategies
Acting as an expert in data with core focus on B2B data to drive global targeted reach
Ensuring the team delivers sound strategic media recommendations based on a clear understanding of brand objectives
Leading the team and day-to-day client interaction around data and audience signals and building, maintaining, and growing client relationships and client business
Applying experience to improve critical thinking across the portfolio and setting appropriate learning agenda elements
Writing and delivering strategies and POV's as well as overseeing the translation of these strategies into the final audience plans
Building audience insights to drive complete media strategies, ensuring alignment from segmentation through activation and measurement
Leveraging first-party, third-party, and platform data to enhance audience targeting, personalization, and overall campaign effectiveness
Working with analytics and research teams to identify and apply findings and the investment and operations teams to ensure flawless implementation
Analyzing client's audience strategies and working with internal groups to lead argument development
Facilitating team building through collaboration, open communication, and focused project management to assure that assignments are accomplished in a timely manner
Providing vision, direction, management, and support to individuals within the team to ensure their work aligns with our mission and goals
Demonstrating a deep technical understanding as well as problem solving and intervention when necessary
Qualifications:
8+ years of experience in media, consumer research, insights or audiences
Experience with a range of research methods: third-party desk research, custom quantitative surveys, qualitative work
Understanding of current Adtech/Martech Ecosystems trends, privacy rules and regulations, research and test design, and 1P and 3P industry sources
Ability to strategically plan campaigns from audience determination, through how to best flight and execute campaigns to align with clients' strategic goals and KPIs
Strong understanding of analytics to inform and validate planning and strategy
History of identifying media opportunities, presenting them to clients, and executing
Ensuring people are adopting the best-in-class tools, techniques, systems to deliver effective media processes
Portfolio management of paid media for a large brand
Excellent communication (written and verbal along with visual storytelling), diplomacy, and relationship building and decision-making skills with the ability to think creatively
Strong attention to detail, prioritization skills, and a proven ability to operate in high-pressure environments
Experience with 3P syndicated industry research tools (eMarketer, comScore, Statista, Mintel, GWI, MRI, crosstab reporting, etc.)

Compensation Range: USD $121,315.00 - USD $194,220.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
