Description
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for development of visual content, organic social media, and event/promotion planning and marketing execution for Grand and Little America. Content will include video and photography capture for the hotel and multiple lines of business represented on property. Night, weekend, and holiday work will be required. Candidate must be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment and in various aspects of Marketing and Public Relations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Lead and execute organic content strategy and content deployment

Produce high quality video and still photography for social media

Manage social media communities and lead the hotels’ social media response and engagement

Support Creative Requests from multiple departments

Website management and content updates

Support PR needs as directed by Marketing Director and PR agency

Lead resort photo and video shoots with 3rd party creative vendors

Support organization of hotel media library

Regularly reporting of social media engagement and growth

Manage the Hotel Influencer program

Partner with hotel departments on special event planning and marketing execution

Lead management of guest reviews on all platforms

Work with local tourism bureaus on cooperative networking opportunities

Adhere to hotel and departmental policies and procedures

Attend required meetings both onsite and with other marketing stakeholders at other properties

Attends Sales/PR related functions within the hotel

Requirements:

Proficiency in social media platforms

Knowledge of Later, Canva, Asana or similar creative/project management tools

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office

Physical Demands:

Work involves exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body

Communication Skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously

Education

College coursework in marketing, communication or similar field of study
