Job Description
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

Conduct maintenance and calibration activities
Consult with customer management and operation teams
Excellent mechanical know‑how and problem‑solving skills
Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications
Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
Duties & Responsibilities
Carry out mechanical, electrical, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
Perform analytical testing such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO₂, O₂, SDI, TOC, and other site‑specific testing requirements
Enter and complete work orders, purchase orders, and PM plans in Salesforce
Daily timekeeping in Kronos
Respond to system trouble calls and troubleshoot and restore system operation in a timely manner
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education & Experience – Required:
High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification or international equivalent
2+ years’ experience in service/maintenance (Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience) or equivalent in an industrial environment
Able to lift 50 lbs
Willingness and ability to respond to after‑hours call‑out in 2 hrs or less
Current Driver’s License
Able to maintain Site access
Forklift experience/training or ability to be certified
Preferred:
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
2 years of experience in industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical or power generation plants
25% travel (training/other site visits)
Working with chemicals for water treatment
Working with corrosive chemicals used for membrane cleaning operations
Additional Information
Working Conditions
Must be able to perform work with appropriate PPE (safety toed shoes, safety glasses, bump cap/hard hat, etc.)
Time will be split between maintenance work and assembly work, requiring bending, kneeling, fine motor work, and use of hand tools and PVC bonding materials (glue, primer)
Ability to operate power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws
Some sitting and computer work is required
Some unassisted lifting up to 50 lbs is required – most heavy parts movement assisted with cranes/hoists and pallet jacks
Okay with 25% travel
Okay working hot, dirty, loud, and moving equipment

Compensation – The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is a guide and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. The offer may be lower or higher than the stated range. Hourly $22.00 – $34.00 USD.
