Job Description
The Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator plays a vital role in developing and executing strategic initiatives to support student recruitment and marketing efforts for the School of Pharmacy (SOP). This position combines leadership, planning, and communication responsibilities to enhance enrollment, promote the SOP brand, and engage prospective students through various channels and events.
Responsibilities include:
Oversight of student recruitment, including executing school visits, coordinating recruitment events, managing CRM software, and providing guided informational tours for prospective students.
Utilizing systems such as Banner, MUBert, PharmCAS, Word, Excel, Salesforce and other relevant technologies.
Travel, including some overnight travel, as part of the recruitment efforts.
Assisting in the creation and production of marketing and communication materials across digital, social media, email, print, and other platforms.
Maintaining and developing SOP marketing content for social media, newsletters, blogs, and media releases.
Managing communication efforts and ensuring dissemination of accurate and pertinent information.
Maintaining an active presence on social media platforms, including graphic design and content development.
Gathering data, compiling information, and preparing reports.
Making administrative/procedural decisions and judgments.
Analyzing course prerequisites, certification, and/or curriculum/graduation requirements.
Using independent judgment to manage and impart confidential information.
Developing and delivering presentations to students and parents.
Working effectively with diverse populations.
Communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Working with others in the development of recruitment brochures, flyers, and presentations.
Operating in face‑to‑face and virtual settings.
Examining and re‑engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
Planning, assessing, and evaluating programs related to student recruitment efforts.
Coordinating with faculty members on the recruitment team and students in recruitment and admissions processes.
Planning and implementing recruitment and admissions programs.
Understanding student recruitment and retention issues.
Developing, planning, and implementing short‑ and long‑range goals related to recruitment and admissions.
Configuring and using computerized programs related to pharmacy admissions processes.
Providing leadership and guidance to administrative support staff and/or students.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs.

Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: 1+ years of college/professional school recruiting and admissions experience (preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree
Experience: 3+ years of college/professional school recruiting, advising, and admissions experience
