Job Description
The Director of Public Relations & Communications will lead all external messaging, media relations, and brand storytelling. This role partners closely with executive leadership and plays a key part in shaping the organization’s public voice.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute PR and communication strategies

Manage media outreach, pitching, and press relationships

Lead crisis and issues communication planning

Create compelling stories and content for diverse audiences

Support executive communications and thought leadership

Draft press releases, announcements, and internal updates

Serve as spokesperson when needed

Attend occasional weekend/evening events (exhibit openings, galas)

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, PR, Marketing, or related field

7–10 years of communications or PR experience, including leadership

Strong media relations background with established contacts

Excellent writing and verbal communication skills

Experience supporting C‑suite executives

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment

Professional presence and polished communication style

Additional Details

3–6 month contract with potential for role evolution

Canva experience preferred
