Summary of Role:The Sales Specialist is responsible for increasing the volume of compliant lab specimens in your designated territory through ongoing account management, increasing business in existing accounts, and development of new business.ResponsibilitiesThe Sales Specialist is responsible for the following:Become familiar with and always adhere to compliance standards. (familiarity with toxicology diagnostics compliance a plus)Meet and exceed territory volume growth objectives by developing new accounts and increasing business in existing accounts.Attend local and national conferences and tradeshows, to generate leads and interact with prospective clientsUnderstand the account's workflow and train staff on established procedures.Utilize prospecting data and set qualified appointments within territoryPlan and execute visits to all existing accounts in the territory on a regular basis.Present Acutis's products and services to prospective clientsClose new businessOngoing pipeline development including growing existing accounts, referrals, and cold calling Communicate with internal teams and develop productive working relationships with lab, billing, and clinical support teamBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Communications, Business Management or related field.2 Years of Sales or Relatable ExperienceUncompromising ethics and integrityExperience in substance abuse, toxicology diagnostics and or MUD a plusHigh energy level and ability to develop sales rapidlyOutside sales experience with strong closing, cold calling, and presentation skillsDemonstrated track record and commitment to continued progressive sales growthAbility to understand and present clinical and technical product informationUnderstanding of insurance and reimbursement issuesCollaborative spirit and ability to thrive as part of a teamPrior experience managing a large geographical territory
