Responsibilities
- Lead and implement fundraising strategies that support organizational growth and sustainability.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, sponsors, foundations, municipalities, and community partners.
- Oversee fundraising initiatives, including annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, campaigns, grants, and special events.
- Lead the development and implementation of communications, marketing, branding, and public relations strategies that increase awareness and engagement.
- Supervise the Grants and Communications Specialist, Receptionists, interns, and volunteers, providing coaching, support, and professional development while promoting collaboration and engagement across the organization.
- Represent EAAA through public speaking, donor engagement, community outreach, media, and strategic partnerships.
- Participate as a member of the leadership team, helping guide organizational strategy, culture, and continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Fundraising, or a related field required. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five years of experience in fundraising, development, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field required.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory or leadership experience required.
- Demonstrated success in fundraising, donor cultivation and stewardship, grant development, sponsorship development, and community engagement.
- Experience developing and implementing communications, marketing, branding, and public relations strategies.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, donor management systems, databases, website content management systems, and social media platforms.
- Must have a valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
