About the Role

Epic Games is looking for a Senior Marketing Manager, Global Franchise Strategy to join our team. In this role, you will lead the strategic vision for our global franchises and develop multi-year marketing plans to achieve commercial goals. We’re looking for someone who has a strong marketing background and experience working closely with game development to create and execute franchise-wide go-to-market strategies.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the strategic vision for assigned global franchises, including brand positioning, target audience, and key messaging.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive multi-year marketing plans for assigned franchises, aligning with overall business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Drive the development of global go-to-market strategies for new product launches, content updates, and other franchise initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including game development, product management, publishing, creative, and PR, to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and audience insights to identify opportunities and inform marketing strategies.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Manage marketing budgets, allocate resources effectively, and optimize spend to achieve maximum ROI.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in franchise marketing and gaming.
  • Mentor and guide junior marketing team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • Significant experience in global brand/franchise strategy, preferably within the gaming or entertainment industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-year marketing plans and go-to-market strategies for global franchises.
  • Strong understanding of the gaming landscape, player communities, and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making and a passion for gaming.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
