Role Description
The Regional Sales Director leads the strategy and execution for wholesaling fixed insurance product solutions to licensed registered reps and insurance agents (producers). This role will focus on driving revenue growth through a blend of technology-driven initiatives and face-to-face engagements. The VP will leverage creative sales strategies, new product offerings, and the firm’s value-added benefits to maintain and expand relationships with producers, positioning the company as a leader in the market.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership & Strategy : Oversee the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at driving growth through existing and new producer relationships.
- Producer Relationship Management : Cultivate and expand relationships with key producers by providing timely sales ideas, case design, and comprehensive sales presentation support to ensure success.
- Recruitment & Onboarding : Lead efforts to recruit and onboard new producers by effectively communicating the firm’s value proposition and competitive advantages.
- Solution-Oriented Selling : Collaborate with producers to identify client needs and recommend tailored solutions based on the company’s product offerings and marketing strategies.
- Event & Marketing Promotion : Spearhead the promotion of company events, conferences, and marketing initiatives to maximize engagement and business opportunities.
- Key Producer Engagement : Strategically identify high-potential producers and engage with them directly to build and nurture strong, long-term partnerships.
- Ongoing Development : Continuously enhance industry knowledge, product expertise, and sales acumen to better support both internal stakeholders and external producer partners.
- Performance Metrics : Meet planned performance metrics established by company on quarterly and annual basis.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven track record of driving sales success and exceeding revenue targets in the financial or insurance sectors.
- 5+ years of experience in a senior sales leadership role, with a strong background in financial or insurance sales.
- Life and Health insurance licensed, with in-depth understanding of product offerings and market trends.
- Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with independent, entrepreneurial producers.
- Exceptional communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and CRM tools, with a tech-savvy approach to sales operations.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to constantly operate computer and other technical equipment.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time while operating computer and conducting phone calls.
- Ability to lift and/or move at least ten (10) pounds.
