Client Service Director

As Director of Client Service, it is up to you, in partnership with your delivery team, to present the right solution and consulting team at the right time and to promote Vaco to the business community for strategic projects in the CFO organization.
Day in the Life
- Grow and develop strong relationships with senior accounting & financial leaders.
- Connect with area business leaders by phone, email, in‑person meetings, and professional networking events.
- Work with an elite recruitment team to fulfill special projects and interim positions in audit, financial reporting, FP&A, M&A, taxation, software implementations, and more.
- Keep a regular pulse on the market as it relates to businesses and hiring trends.
- Actively develop and maintain a target client list.
- Manage open client opportunities from intake to fulfillment.
- Provide high‑level oversight on existing engagements.
- Manage your daily and weekly schedule and activities in alignment with productivity goals.

What we are seeking
- Bachelor’s Degree required. CPA, CFA, MBA or related designation highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting/financial consulting and/or audit.
- Public Accounting and/or Big Four experience highly preferred.

Salary Range for this role: $75,000 - $85,000 USD.
