Moana Rock Yard Manager
Your Future Role
The Rock Yard Manager is responsible for operating performance of Moana Rock. Position is expected to supervise and manage onsite and offsite rock operations. Position is accountable for day-to‑day operations, the customer shopping experience, and the financial performance of the rock yard and delivery. In conjunction with the General Manager of South Virginia, other store managers and buyers, this position is instrumental for implementing policies, strategies and organizational improvements that support continued well‑balanced, profitable growth. Ultimately this position ensures all operations are conducted safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Physical Requirements & Activity
- Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Applicant must be able to enter and exit dump trucks and heavy equipment frequently.
- Applicant must be able to work outdoors for an extended period of time.
Expertise & Experience Requirements
- Applicant must be 21 years old to drive.
- Experience for this role is not necessary, but a positive attitude and a willingness to learn are.
Nice To Have Skills or Experiences
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Experience in inventory control and purchasing
- Experience working a Point-of-Sale system
- Experience in the landscaping industry
Your Future Work Schedule
Our retail stores are open 7 days a week and we are busiest on the weekend. We are looking for teammates that can work during the week, over the weekends and be flexible to accommodate the changing retail environment. Our Rock Yard opens at 7 am Monday‑Friday and later on the weekends. Please make sure you list your availability on the application.
Your Future Salary & Benefits
The starting rate for this position is $40,000 per year and increases based on experience, expertise and responsibilities. Other benefits for this role include:
