About the Role
The Director will build, lead, and scale the Corporate Affairs Intelligence function, integrating data and insights to anticipate opportunities, predict risk, and strengthen Target’s reputation.
Core Responsibilities
- Define vision, operating model, and roadmap for Corporate Affairs Intelligence.
- Build and maintain the information hub on the CA Reputation Command Center.
- Establish short- and long‑term intelligence operating models and represent CA in enterprise data & insights routines.
- Lead development of reputation audience activation plans informed by intelligence.
- Manage external intelligence agency relationships, set expectations, and drive accountability.
- Drive adoption of intelligence tools, ensuring outputs are actively used across teams.
- Translate complex insights into clear narratives for senior leadership and cross‑functional partners.
- Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- Move Corporate Affairs from reactive to predictive intelligence, positioning Target proactively in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- 10‑15+ years leading process and/or systems initiatives.
- Excellent written, oral, and facilitation communication skills.
- Experience conducting research and distilling complex subjects into actionable insights.
- Highly organized, able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience in high‑pressure, cross‑functional teamwork.
- Bias for action; strong ability to execute with minimal oversight.
- Creative problem‑solving skills and strong leadership capabilities.
- Executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
Work Arrangement
