Director of Illustration Development

To enhance the illustration capabilities at Penn Mutual, the full-time remote Director of Illustration Development will manage the illustration ecosystem, oversee vendor relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities

Implement strategic priorities for illustrations and own the illustration ecosystem, including tools, vendors, and outputs
Oversee and improve illustration capabilities, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely delivery of outputs
Collaborate with Product, IT, and Legal teams to translate field needs into scalable solutions and evaluate innovative tools

Required qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field
7-10 years of experience in case design or illustration development within an insurance company
Comprehensive knowledge of life insurance products and illustration systems
Substantial understanding of Illustration Model Regulation and applicable FINRA requirements
Preferred licenses include Series 6 and 26 or equivalent professional licenses
