Job Overview
The GMP Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating activities within the assigned areas in the GMP program. This includes supervising company employees and other temporary employees engaged in the program. The supervisor will inspect areas, equipment, and working conditions to ensure compliance with sanitation, OSHA regulations, and site‑specific SOPs.

Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

Perform duties of employees within the program assigned.

Train, supervise and instruct employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.

Coordinate and monitor work activities, recommend training and issue discipline.

Prepare written reports (pass down, weekly/monthly updates).

Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.

Track equipment inventory and schedule maintenance and repair.

Track supplies inventory.

Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment to ensure safety compliance.

Report employee personnel and customer issues to manager.

Correct at‑risk behavior immediately, then report to the manager immediately.

Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.

Maintain records (training, inspections, attendance, metric data).

Familiar with supervisory responsibilities.

Some travel may be required for this position.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred. Candidates with an equivalent combination of education, technical training, professional certifications, and progressively responsible experience leading facilities, operations, janitorial, manufacturing, or service teams will also be considered.

May be required to have a valid driver’s license.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Interview, hire, plan, assign, and direct work.

Perform performance evaluations; reward and discipline employees.

Address complaints and resolve problems.

Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Frequently sit, talk, or listen; must lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
