We’re looking for a Digital Strategy Manager to lead digital marketing strategy across our artist roster. This role is ideal for someone who understands both the creative and analytical sides of music marketing—someone who can develop compelling digital campaigns while using data to drive audience growth, fan engagement, and streaming performance.
You’ll work directly with artists, management, label partners, creative teams, and digital platforms to bring releases, tours, and campaigns to life.
This is a highly collaborative, artist-facing role that requires excellent communication, organization, and a genuine passion for music marketing.
- Develop digital marketing strategies tailored to each artist’s brand and goals.
- Collaborate with artists and the social team to shape content strategy across social platforms.
- Recommend content, platform, and audience growth strategies based on performance insights and current trends.
- Build digital campaign timelines around releases, tours, and key announcements.
- Own fan communication strategies through email marketing and CRM.
- Build, maintain, and segment audience databases for targeted campaigns.
- Execute email marketing campaigns supporting releases, tour announcements, merchandise, and fan activations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fan community engagement initiatives.
- Develop paid media strategies across Meta and Google platforms.
- Coordinate influencer campaigns surrounding music releases and major announcements.
- Identify opportunities to increase streaming performance and audience growth through digital initiatives.
- Monitor campaign performance and provide actionable insights.
- Serve as the primary digital point of contact for label teams, brand partners, DSPs, and external marketing partners.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative assets across all stakeholders.
- Help facilitate marketing materials between artists, creative directors, label teams, and partners to meet production, streaming, and marketing deadlines.
- Proactively communicate campaign updates with digital partners to strengthen relationships and secure promotional opportunities.
- Managing artist website updates (Squarespace)
- CRM management and fan engagement (Openstage)
- Planning and executing influencer campaigns
- Coordinating digital marketing around album releases and tour on-sales
- Tracking marketing budgets and campaign spend
- Managing project timelines across multiple concurrent campaigns
- 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, artist marketing, music marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience working directly with artists, artist management, labels, or entertainment brands preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing strategy across social, paid media, CRM, and audience development.
- Experience developing Meta and Google advertising strategies.
- Experience with email marketing platforms and audience segmentation.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Squarespace
- Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms)
- Openstage or comparable CRM/community platforms
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Google Analytics
- Meta Ads Manager
- Google Ads
The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of creativity and analytics. They’re equally comfortable brainstorming content ideas with an artist, building an audience segmentation strategy, coordinating with label partners, or reviewing campaign performance data.
If you’re passionate about helping artists grow meaningful fan communities and creating digital campaigns that move culture, we’d love to hear from you.
