Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager / Representative to drive sales of our solid-state chemistry solutions. This role plays a key part in shaping our solid-state chemistry offerings, supporting team success, and contributing to XtalPi's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve individual sales targets
Proactively prospect and qualify leads through outreach, industry events, and client meetings
Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations aligned with client scientific goals
Negotiate contracts and pricing, clearly articulating the value of our services
Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients through regular engagement
Qualifications
Master's degree or above in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field
Strong soft skills, including resilience, execution capability, proactive attitude, and self-motivation
Prior sales or customer-facing experience preferred; solid-state chemistry experience is a strong plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts
Willingness to travel across the US/Canada, Europe, and APAC
Location
United States (California preferred)
Hybrid or fully remote, with travel to conferences, client sites, and company offices.
