Corporate Partnerships Account Director
At Feed the Children, we are searching for a dedicated Corporate Partnerships Account Director to join our Corporate Partnerships team. The role focuses on driving partnership growth through a 360‑degree fundraising approach, managing a portfolio of 6‑8+ figure corporate partners, and ensuring strong partner engagement, fulfillment, reporting, and activation.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of corporate partners, typically 6‑8+ figure relationships, and demonstrate strong executive presence, relationship management, and independent execution of complex partnerships.
Own renewal strategy and year‑over‑year growth for assigned partners, increasing both cash and gifts‑in‑kind revenue through a comprehensive 360‑degree fundraising approach.
Develop and execute strategic account plans that identify growth pathways, stakeholder maps, engagement tactics, and next‑step asks; ensure plans, interactions, and outcomes are consistently documented in the CRM.
Create compelling presentations, proposals, and activation concepts that secure renewals, expand partner commitment, and strengthen long‑term engagement.
Ensure partner commitments are secured in writing through pledges, contracts, or grant letters.
Maintain strong knowledge of Feed the Children programs and strategic initiatives to align partner objectives with meaningful, high‑impact opportunities.
Leverage cause marketing partnerships, employee engagement, workplace giving, grants, and other value‑exchange opportunities.
Oversight of partnership fulfillment, activation, and stewardship from commitment through delivery, aligning goals, timelines, and resources to execute flawlessly.
Own partner reporting and performance updates, coordinating with Mission Impact, Marketing & Communications, Finance, and other internal teams.
Create, drive, and maintain customized stewardship and engagement plans that add value and deepen partner relationships; document all interactions in the CRM.
Coordinate cross‑functional collaboration with Finance, Mission Impact, Marketing & Communications, Legal, and others to deliver timely, accurate impact reporting.
Travel to meet key corporate partners as necessary, with domestic travel up to 50% of the work week during peak season and 15‑20% off‑peak.
Support relevant Feed the Children campaign and organizational events; perform other related duties as assigned.
Maintain punctuality and attendance to complete day‑to‑day tasks; establish high performance and continuous improvement culture.
Model professionalism and leadership consistent with the organization’s values.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree (BA, BS) or equivalent with emphasis in business, communications, or related field is preferred.
Experience: 5–7+ years of progressive experience in corporate partnerships, corporate sales/business development, or fundraising, with responsibility for renewal strategy and revenue growth.
High proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline/portfolio management; accurate documentation of partner strategies, activities, deliverables, and outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to manage top‑tier corporate partnerships and build trusted relationships with executive‑level stakeholders.
Experience expanding existing accounts through stakeholder mapping, whitespace/opportunity analysis, and cross‑functional engagement strategies.
Proven success leading multiple workstreams (activation, fulfillment, reporting, partner communications) while meeting deadlines across internal teams.
Experience securing and growing significant partner commitments, including cash and gifts‑in‑kind; equivalent success in business development considered.
Experience developing strategic account plans, proposals, and presentations for renewals and partner expansion.
Experience establishing relationships with senior leaders at Fortune 500 companies and/or foundations and advancing value‑exchange partnerships from discovery through close.
Strong negotiation, influence, and conflict‑resolution skills; professionalism and executive presence.
