Commercial Account Manager – Small Business
Remote US-based, Pacific Time Zone hours.

Job Overview
Join our Small Business Account Management team and provide high‑quality service to our small business clients.

Responsibilities

Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates, audit requests, and other client servicing items during non‑renewal periods.

Assist clients with coverage, exclusions, and policy questions; support Producers in servicing clients.

Serve client accounts under oversight of Producers or Account Executives, including research, analysis, and handling of client queries.

Conduct renewal processes, perform exposure analysis, strategize with producers and clients, obtain and evaluate quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and oversee binder accuracy.

Prepare presentations and proposals; participate in prospect meetings.

Maintain client files in systems, prepare billing, and provide administrative support.

Respond promptly to client questions, resolve issues, and maintain high trust levels.

Ensure timely, accurate invoicing and monthly expirations; meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System.

Collaborate with Sales Team on marketing strategy, pricing, submissions, and negotiation.

Support Employee Benefits and Private Client Departments referrals.

Handle additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High‑school diploma or G.E.D.; college degree preferred.

Two or more years of experience in mid‑size brokerage or carrier.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Strong interpersonal skills, ability to handle sensitive/confidential situations, and teamwork.

Fast‑paced, multi‑tasking ability, excellent attention to detail.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Knowledge of Property & Casualty lines, agency management systems, rating procedures.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and internet navigation.

Required Licenses
Fire and Casualty Broker License.

Compensation
National average hourly pay: $39.00–$44.33, exclusive of bonuses or benefits.
