Job Overview

Radiology Technologist – XRFTE (Full Time, 1.0 FTE)
Location: UCHealth UCHlth Eastview Medical Center, Colorado Springs, CO
Shift: Days
Pay: $28.38 – $39.74 per hour, dependent on applicable experience. Relocation bonus may apply.
Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
ARRT specialty certification(s) if required for the position.
State licensure if required by law.
Basic Life Support (BLS) – Healthcare Provider. BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross. CPR for the Professional Rescuer card required upon start date; card must remain valid for the first 60 days of employment.
Responsibilities

Provide high‑quality direct patient care by performing a range of imaging and radiologic procedures. Review patient history, initiate radiographic images based on physician orders, and prioritize procedural patient education to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Safely administer contrast media or associated imaging medications while monitoring patient condition. Monitor for, document, and report changes in patient condition as appropriate.
Implement techniques to produce clear, diagnostically useful images, maintaining quality control and equipment functionality in accordance with established best practices in radiology (AART).
