About The Role
We’re looking for a motivated Video Editor to create storytelling‑led, visually engaging content across multiple platforms in the beauty space. Working closely with senior editors, creative and art directors, and the social team, you’ll shape video content from raw footage through final delivery with creative and technical expertise across a variety of assets and projects.

Key Responsibilities

Shape video content across platforms in collaboration with creative lead and art director.

Assist in the conceptualizing and storyboarding process, translating creative briefs and scripts into compelling videos and motion graphics.

Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets within established workflows.

Build rough assemblies and string‑outs, maintaining clear timelines and labeling systems.

Edit video, perform color correction and grading, and create title designs and motion graphics that elevate each project.

Support visual effects, compositing, and audio leveling under the guidance of senior editors.

Keep project files organized and manage storage workflows across shared drives and cloud platforms.

Export, encode, and deliver final videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for social and digital platforms.

Handle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and help oversee the production process.

Manage revisions, versioning, and delivery according to specs and client/brand feedback.

Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure consistency with brand standards.

Troubleshoot post‑production issues and assist with software/hardware setup when needed.

Stay up to date on emerging editing tools, platform requirements, and content best practices.

Requirements

2–5 years of hands‑on video editing, post‑production, and/or motion design experience (internships and freelance work welcome).

Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.

Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; Adobe Photoshop / Creative Suite a plus.

Strong understanding of video codecs, terminology, color grading, visual effects, motion graphics, and post‑production workflows.

A robust portfolio demonstrating storytelling, technical skill, and design principles – typography, color theory, and composition.

Strong organizational, project, and file‑management skills with sharp attention to detail and a critical eye for quality.

Working knowledge of AI‑driven design tools and techniques.

Collaborative mindset with strong communication skills and eagerness to learn from feedback.

Ability to adapt to changing technologies and industry trends.

Strong creative sensibility with a finger on the pulse of beauty and fashion marketing trends.

Passion for culture, social media, and content that captures attention.

Preferred / Nice to Have

Experience editing video for beauty, cosmetics, or other consumer‑packaged‑goods brands.

Experience within fashion, beauty, and luxury industries.

ARRI / RED / Canon / Phantom footage workflow experience.

On‑set DIT experience.

Video retouching experience.

Pay Transparency
The pay range for this position is $70,000–$95,000, supplemented with all benefits for full‑time employees.
