Your Future Environment
The core business of the BIEP is the engineering of all civil engineering works in France and internationally for Eiffage. It is the guarantor of technical engineering on these various works.
It fully or partially carries out studies in the context of a project or works, on behalf of Eiffage's teams.
Your Main Missions
Technical leadership of the study (pre-project, design and/or execution studies)
Technical autonomy and ability to analyze and/or orient the analysis of geotechnical data: critical analysis of the geotechnical model and identification of the parameters determining the study, to appreciate the realistic range of variation and, if necessary, to define the need for complementary reconnaissance
Identify and evaluate the uncertainties and geotechnical risks (technical, financial, regulatory) of the study with a view to establishing the Risk Management Plan of the underground works part of the case (PMR).
Ensure the choice of hypotheses and calculation methods, and adapt the methods of analysis and calculation to the context and specific risks of the studied work.
Propose controlled optimizations based on risk analysis, and define its domain of validity.
Ensure study-works relations: technical meetings, coordination
Management of the production and program of the study
Manage the production team: anticipate and anticipate production needs and means, supervise and coordinate the team dedicated to the study.
Organize and animate the launch and triggering meeting of the study. Trigger and animate the design reviews.
Ensure the organization, follow-up and planning of the production of the case entrusted to it: verify the study program, its updating and dissemination.
Ensure the quality, conformity of the production, and ensure the control of deliverables before external diffusion: technical notes and calculation notes of underground works
Register and notify events having an impact on the costs or planning of the case
Ensure respect of the budget of the case: invoicing, management of the rest to do
Ensure the contractual management of the case entrusted to it
Ensure relations with the client, identify and manage additional requests, ensure the follow-up of subcontractors
Continuous improvement
Establish the Quality Assurance Plan (PAQ) of the case
Ensure the application of the provisions of the Quality Environment system of the study office and the projects on which it works
Ensure the identification and treatment of non-conformities
Participate in the feedback of the cases
What We Are Looking For
Minimum Bac +5 in geotechnics (a plus for Polytech Grenoble, ENSG, Ecole des mines…).
Good knowledge of the field of underground works and geotechnics of underground works. At least 5 years of experience in the study office in the field of underground works (tunnels realized in conventional method and mechanized method / tunnel boring machine).
Significant knowledge of the laws of soil and rock mechanics.
Mastery of standards, recommendations and regulations in the field of underground works.
Mastery of design tools (2D, 3D): Plaxis 2D/3D, Unwedge, Convergence-confinement ….
