Account Executive – Outdoor Advertising

We are looking for an energetic Account Executive to join our sales team in Collinsville, Illinois, serving St. Charles, MO and surrounding areas.

A day in the life

Meet and exceed sales targets and monitor personal sales data and reports.
Target businesses in the assigned area and visit each established Lamar client as well as competitor clients.
Maintain working knowledge of local and national competition.
Cluster accounts for efficient work.
Identify potential growth areas and open new accounts.
Use Lamar computer tools to locate prospects, follow up on leads, prepare proposals and presentations.
Develop presentation skills using computer tools and present to clients regularly.
Develop new product knowledge and selling skills.
Participate in sales meetings, regional meetings, seminars and trade shows.
Perform administrative duties such as maintaining sales plans, following up on client production orders, and keeping organized records.

Education and experience

Current and valid driver’s license required.
College degree preferred.
Previous outdoor advertising sales experience preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
CRM experience preferred.
Physical demands and work environment

Work environment combines office and field; light lifting, reading, visual acuity, standing, speaking, turning, and walking.
Less than 10% nights away from home traveling.
