DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Senior Marketing Manager, Advanced Technologies, Global Digital & Robotics Innovation.
The Senior Marketing Manager will report into the Marketing Director, Advanced Technologies and set the vision and direction for DePuy Synthes' Digital and Robotics Innovation.
This individual will assess digital opportunities across Orthopaedic applications, including but not limited to navigation, robotics, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence to inform the advanced tech pipeline to shape the future of Orthopaedic surgery.

Responsibilities

This is a one of a kind opportunity to set a technology vision for a major Orthopaedics company to advance surgery and improve patient experience and outcomes.
Develop and define our advanced technologies priorities and strategy.
Work closely with our Orthopaedic businesses and customers to understand needs and opportunities across all clinical orthopaedic applications – total joints, trauma, spine, CMF, F&A, sports medicine.
Find, develop, and leverage market and customer research, insights and analytics to define, size and prioritize unmet need opportunities.
Build relationships internally and with external companies, thought leads and potential partners to feed innovation funnel and stay up to date on latest technology advancements.
Maintain an active scouting search criteria informed by prioritized needs and opportunities to guide business development.
Manage a prioritization and governance process interfacing directly with senior leaders.
Partner with external and internal Advanced Technologies R&D team and subject matter experts including business development, supply chain, quality, and regulatory to assess technology and market feasibility to inform recommendations on internal development, co-development, co-marketing, distribution, acquisition or other business strategies.
Support new technology integration and transition to Marketing and Product Development Teams.
Excel in communication and business acumen to effectively communicate with senior leaders of Depuy Synthes, potential partners, customers, and Orthopaedic business leaders.
Qualifications

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (required) and MBA (preferred).
A minimum of five (5) years of relevant Marketing/Product Management/Technology Development experience is required.
Experience and fluency with several digital technologies including but not limited to navigation, robotics, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence to inform the advanced tech pipeline is required.
The ideal candidate will be in tune with the orthopaedic tech and competitive landscape.
Strategic Marketing, Product Management, Business Development experience is preferred.
Experience in MedTech and Orthopaedics is preferred.
Ability to demonstrate capital and clinical procedural understanding.
Ability to leverage AI tools for market and technology intelligence gathering and analysis.
Experience & competency in using customer and market research to inform strategy.
Ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects/priorities at once with tight deadlines is required.
Ability to self‑start and work in a hands‑on, fast‑paced environment required.
Ability to work independently, proactively and with teams is required.
Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills are required.
Comfort with ambiguity and blank canvas innovation.
Ability to work with cadavers and within an Operating Room setting is required.
Up to 40% domestic and international travel, including overnights and occasional weekends is required.

Vacation –120 hours per calendar year

Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year

Compensation

The anticipated base pay range for this position is: $122,000.00 - $212,750.00
