Vos Missions En Quelques Mots

We are a public territorial establishment that brings together 9 cities in the eastern Parisian region (list). We think and implement concrete and useful public policies, in the service of social justice and ecological transition. For whom? For the 440,000 inhabitants of the territory and its users. Practically: employment, insertion, environment, waste collection, sports facilities (11 swimming pools) and cultural facilities (13 libraries, 6 cinemas, 9 conservatories), territorial planning, mobility, urban renewal... We currently employ 1,500 employees. Under the hierarchical authority of the head of the youth sector, you will contribute to implementing the public reading policy and the projects of the establishment: services to the public, mediation actions, development of audiences and partnerships, cultural actions, documentary policy and management of collections, development of innovative projects. Organization and implementation of the public service: welcoming, advising and guiding the public, accompanying readers to the use of documentary resources. Welcome to individual and collective audiences and interventions with them in the library and trips within the framework of "off-site" actions. Promotion of collections and documentary resources to the public: signaling, enhancement, mediation, cultural actions, interventions and all forms of production that contribute to their discoveries. Development of partnerships with educational and social actors in the territory, in particular with actors accompanying adolescents. Organization and participation in projects, services and cultural actions of the youth sector and towards adolescents (in particular, co-animation of the Lékri Dézados reading club, management of the "Passages" fund intended for adolescents). Participation in team life (meeting, training, exchange of practices and knowledge), proposals for cultural actions or participation in actions within the framework of the territorial policy, the network or more broadly in events related to the resources offered by the library.

Required skills: Experience in a library, preferably in the youth section, would be appreciated. Good general and professional culture. Good knowledge of adolescent literature. Sense of public service. Specificities of the position: - work from Tuesday to Saturday - one evening per week until 19h or 20h - presence required during certain cultural events in the evening
