Position Overview
The Account Manager will support sales of our PreK‑12 curriculum in North Carolina, targeting the Southcentral/Southeastern territory, including Charlotte. The role involves representing Savvas products and services, maximizing revenue, improving market share, developing growth strategies, coordinating marketing plans, and working within assigned operating budgets. The position requires on‑site customer meetings in North Carolina.

Primary Responsibilities

Achieve and exceed PreK‑12 sales revenue goals within assigned budgets.

Translate vision and strategy into effective sales actions with the Director and RVP.

Partner with decision‑makers in assigned districts to present comprehensive Savvas solutions.

Identify opportunities and mobilize market resources to win business.

Resolve territory product and service delivery issues.

Develop three‑year account business plans and annual sales plans aligned with organizational goals.

Prepare sales and pipeline reports, including secured sales, potential sales, and opportunity areas.

Seek new growth opportunities, including digital sales and emerging solutions.

Coordinate field input to product management, development, and marketing groups.

Provide accurate sales activity information to the Director and RVP.

Collaborate with contract administration to ensure timely listing processes.

Build relationships across Savvas divisions to maximize revenue opportunities.

Required Knowledge and Experience

3‑5 years of sales experience (or related teaching/edtech role).

Ability to travel frequently (70‑80%) and overnight (40‑50%).

Must reside in North Carolina.

Consistent track record of exceeding sales targets.

Strong networking and influencing skills with decision‑makers.

Experience in the educational market preferred.

Strategic sales thinker and outstanding communicator.

Adaptable to organizational change.

Excellent written and presentation communication skills.

Strong listening skills for customer solutions.

Ability to achieve sales objectives.

Rapid learning of new product lines and solutions.

Proficiency and comfort with technology trends.

Other Requirements

B.A. degree or equivalent experience.

Significant travel may be required.

Ability to sit or stand at a computer for extended periods.

Capability to handle high volume and multiple priorities.

Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Must perform essential duties satisfactorily.
