We’re looking for a creative, driven Morning News Producer to join our team in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast‑paced newsroom, collaborates with on‑air personalities, and creates a morning show that viewers enjoy starting their day with.
Responsibilities

Produce daily newscasts and decide story order.
Write teases, scripts, and content for the broadcast.
Time news programs and edit video for all platforms, including streaming.
Post video content to the website and manage online distribution.
Balance breaking news with engaging lifestyle and community feature content.
Interact with viewers and users on social media sites.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, a related field, or equivalent education and work experience.
Fluency in English and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum two years’ experience in news operations (market size may vary).
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, and other office equipment.
Strong ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Flexibility to work any shift.
Compensation & Benefits

Pay range: $19.23 per hour plus commensurate experience and skill level.
