Duke Energy is looking for a Government and Community Relations Manager II based in Hickory, North Carolina. This role will be responsible for managing relationships with local governments and community stakeholders within the service territory. The GCRM will develop and implement public relations strategies to shape local opinion and policy, while also acting as the primary contact during storm events.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree and have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. A hybrid work arrangement is available, with on-site requirements three days a week.
